VantaBlack is not Darkest Material But 'Blackest Black' is darkest material.
Yes, VantaBlack is 2nd darkest now the darkest and blackest material on earth is 'Blackest Black' now. I will give information of blackest black after VantaBlack.
Scientists of Surrey NanoSystems created the darkest available material in the world called VantaBlack. Then they tested themselves and made an even darker version of vantaBlack. But in 2019, VantaBlack was upended by a new material which became the blackest and darkest material in the world.

The developed version of Vantablack can be sprayed directly onto other objects. This version was so black that there wasn’t an optical spectrometer (a device that measures the wavelength of light) available anywhere in the world with the sensitivity to test it. The material even absorbed light from a laser.
VantaBlack is composed from millions of carbon nanotubes. This nanotube's diameter is around 3500 times smaller than human hair. When light hits the surface of the Vantablack, it enters the space between the millions of nanotubes. As light moves within the nanotube structure, it gets absorbed and can’t be reflected.
As per Surrey NanoSystems 1 square centimetre surface can hold 1 Billion nanotubes.
The appearance of Vantablack produces dramatic effects since there is almost no reflection from light. When it is put on a three-dimensional object, the object actually appears to be two-dimensional. Since Vantablack coats another surface, it’s almost impossible to see what the surface looks like. Any folds or creases on a surface appear flat or as if nothing is there. The human eye is unable to detect any surface changes without the reflection of light.
The Blackest Black
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), led by Brian Wardle and Kehang Cui, produced an another material which is 10 times darker than VantaBlack. This was also made from carbon nanotubes. The only difference from VantaBlack is this was made on chlorine-etched Aluminum foil. Scientists of MIT even don't know that they will make this darkest material from this project they are trying to grow aluminium foil's electrical and thermal properties.
When they got result there's a material which has more electrical and thermal properties. But they also found that this material can absorb 99.995% light hitting it. This property make this material darkest and blackest material on earth. This material is the Blackest Black.
